Kuwait – Mubasher: The indices of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Monday’s session with a grouped decline.
The price index went down 0.02% or 0.72 points to reach 5,409.07 points by 10:45am Kuwait time. Similarly, both the weighted and Kuwait-15 fell 0.16% and 0.35% respectively.
KSE’s trading value reached KWD 3.8 million after 25.9 million shares were traded through 683 transactions.
The basic materials sector headed seven decliners with 0.26%.
The insurance, real estate, and technology sectors were the only gainers with a rise of 0.39%, 0.18%, and 0.15% respectively.
Al Mudon was the top winner with a growth of 5.3%, while KMEFIC led the losers with an 8.2% fall.
Al Mal was the most active stock on which 6 million shares were traded with liquidity standing at about KWD 137,400.
Zain recorded the highest turnover that reached KWD 1.06 million after 3.2 million shares were exchanged.
