Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) started Sunday’s session with negative performance.
The price index edged down 0.07% or 3.94 points to reach 5,424.97 points by 9:40am Kuwait time, while both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices retreated 0.12% each.
KSE’s turnover stood at about KWD 886,200 after 13.8 million shares were traded through 291 transactions.
The basic materials sector led six decliners by 0.57%, dragged by Qurain which lost 2%.
The financial services sector was the only gainer.
Bayan was the most active stock on which 3.8 million shares were exchanged through 12 deals, at a value of about KWD 124,800.
Americana recorded the highest liquidity that reached around KWD 391,200 after 8 transactions were traded by nearly 160,340 shares.
