Kuwait – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) edged up 0.04% or 2.41 points to reach 5,402.12 points by 9:40am Kuwait time on Wednesday.
Both the weighted and Kuwait-15 indices rose 0.11% and 0.14% respectively.
Turnover stood at KWD 1.8 million after 12.8 million shares were traded through 415 transactions.
The consumer goods sector topped five gainers by 0.47%, while the oil and gas sector led four decliners by 0.9%.
Marakez was the top winner by a growth of 8.33%, while Amwal was the top loser by a 7.32% fall.
Al Mal was the most active stock on which 3.32 million shares were traded, while Americana recorded the highest trading value that reached around KWD 365,500.
