Cairo – Mubasher: Kafr El Zayat Pesticides registered a consolidated net profit of EGP 17.85 million in the first quarter of 2016, up 182% year-over-year from EG 6.33 million, according to a bourse filing.
Its standalone Q1 earnings leapt 107.46% year-over-year to EGP 17.66 million from EGP 8.51 million.
During 2015, the company earned a net of EGP 31.3 million compared with EGP 30.8 million a year earlier.
Earlier, the ordinary general meeting approved paying out cash dividends at EGP 19.207 million for the fiscal year 2015.
