Cairo - Mubasher: Kahira Pharmaceuticals reported an increase in profits in the second quarter of fiscal year 2016-2017 by 76.533%, as shown by the company’s financial statements.
According to the company’s statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Tuesday, profits reached EGP 25.58 million in the three-month period that ended 31 December 2016, compared to EGP 14.49 million in the same period the year before.
Profits also grew by 73.4% in the first half of FY2016-2017 to EGP 43.35 million up from EGP 24.99 million in H1 of the previous year.
The company indicated that it has achieved FX gains of EGP 66.4 million in H1, adding that net profits including FX gains amount to EGP 94.83 million.
