Mubasher: The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) on Wednesday announced signing two contracts with Doha Cables Company and Qatar International Electrical Company following a call-off order.
The two-year contracts total QAR 1.9 billion and involve supplies of 10,000 kilometres of cables.
The first contract signed with Doha Cables Company exceeds QAR 1.24 billion in value, while the second contract inked with Qatar International Electrical Company is worth QAR 640 million, Kahramaa said in a statement.
The contracts will encourage the domestic market, in addition to giving Qatari companies a priority to meet other companies’ needs.
