Riyadh-Mubasher: Saudi Kayan Petrochemical, Sahara Petrochemical and National Industrialization Co. (Tasnee) announced launching the commercial operations of their butanol joint venture in early March 2016.
The relevant financial impact is estimated at around SAR 40 million, which will be reflected in the financial results of the first quarter of 2016, according to a bourse statement.
The project will produce 330,000 metric tonnes of natural butanol per annum, which will be distributed among partners.
