Cairo – Mubasher: Kayan Egypt is expected to start assembling Spain-based Seat cars in Egypt by 2020, company CEO Karim Naggar said.
The Egyptian firm had been recently able to convince the Spanish automobile manufacturer to assemble its models locally, Naggar told Almal News.
Kayan has entered serious negotiations with three Egyptian automotive factories in a bid to pick one of them to perform assembly, the CEO noted.
Naggar forecast Seat assembly in Egypt will narrow down its price in the local market by a range between 25% and 30%.
