Mubasher: Bahrain Bourse (BHB) continued its positive performance on Thursday, backed by Khaleeji Commercial Bank.
The benchmark index edged up by 0.05% or 0.53 points to close at 1,112.80 points.
Today’s liquidity stood at nearly BHD 31,600 as compared to around BHD 136,800 on Wednesday. Trading volume decreased to about 402,490 shares from 541,500 shares.
The banks sector was the only gainer with a 0.1% rise, spurred by a 5.08% growth of Khaleeji Commercial which recently announced a 70% increase in its quarterly profits.
