Kima approves capital hike via bonus shares

Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Chemical Industries’ (Kima) board of directors has approved to raise the issued capital from EGP 2.8 billion to EGP 2.9 billion via distributing bonus shares worth EGP 76.6 million.

The raise will be used in the requalification of the company’s plants to operate with natural gas, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX).

By 10:55 am Cairo time, the stock shrank 0.54% to EGP 5.55.
