Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Chemical Industries (Kima) said Wednesday that its exports increased in the first eleven months of fiscal year 2016/2017 by 130% year-on-year to $280 million, due to the flotation of the Egyptian pound.
The company attributed the growth in exports to a rise of $40 in prices of ammonium nitrate to $290 per tonne, according to a bourse filing.
Kima had earlier posted a net profit of EGP 262 million for the first eleven months of FY16/17.
