Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Chemical Industries (Kima) on Thursday reported a 51.9% year-on-year decline in profits for fiscal year 2017/2018.
Net profit amounted to EGP 100.05 million at the end of June, versus EGP 208.04 million in FY16/17, the company said in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) .
Revenues narrowed down to EGP 571.04 million in the 12-month period ended June, versus EGP 607.8 million in the previous fiscal year.
In August, Kima reported its financial indicators, showing a 47.3% year-on-year drop in profits for FY17/18, with EGP 109.68 million in profits.
