Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian Chemical Industries’ (Kima) financial statements for the third quarter of fiscal year 2016/2017 showed a net loss of EGP 12.4 million, against a net profit of EGP 103.7 million for Q3-15/16.
However, profits for the first nine months of FY16/17 increased by 82% to EGP 235.02 million from EGP 129.3 million for the same period of FY15/16, according to a bourse filing released on Wednesday.
Revenues for the nine-month period ended on 31 March 2017 amounted to EGP 429.7 million, compared to EGP 203.03 million for the corresponding period last year.
The stock rose on Tuesday by 1.82% to EGP 5.58.
