Riyadh – Mubasher: The King of Saudi Arabia, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has undergone successful surgery on Thursday to remove the gallbladder, state-run Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
On Monday, the king was admitted to King Faisal Specialist Hospital to conduct medical checks.
The Saudi King will be spending some time in the hospital to recover, the statement added.
