Kingdom Holding continuing normal business operations - Statement

Riyadh - Mubasher: Kingdom Holding Company (KHC) said in an official statement on Sunday that it continues its normal business operations.

“KHC is aware of various media reports regarding activities in Saudi Arabia, which relate to the Company’s Chairman of the Board,” the statement noted.

“The executive senior management affirms its full commitment to continue the Company’s work, its commitment to its investors and shareholders, and affirms the support of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.”

“Kingdom Holding is proud of this testimony,” the statement concluded.

This comes after Saudi business tycoon and billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, the chairman of Kingdom Holding was detained among other Saudi princes and officials, as the Saudi government began launched new anti-corruption efforts, including establishing a supreme committee chaired by the Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud, and the membership of the chairman of the Monitoring and Investigation Commission, chairman of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, chief of the General Audit Bureau, Attorney General, and Head of State Security.
