Cairo – Mubasher: Kraft Heinz Egypt is looking to inject more than EGP 920 million in investments in the local market over the coming five years, the company’s managing director Hany El-Messiry said.
The plan includes establishing 14 new production lines to meet local demand and increase exports, El-Messeiry added in a statement released by the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones (GAFI) on Tuesday.
Total investments of Kraft Heinz in Egypt reached EGP 257 million, he revealed.
The company exports about 20% of its products to GCC and African countries at a value of EGP 680 million.
