Kuwait - Mubasher: Kuwait and Oman have signed the partnership agreements regarding the Duqm refinery project in Oman, considered the biggest joint project in the Special Economic Zone worth $7 billion.
The refinery will contribute to transforming Duqm area into one of the most important economic centres for oil investment at the regional and global levels, Alrai newspaper cited deputy chairman and CEO of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation Nizar Al-Adsani as saying.
The project will be managed by the Kuwait Petroleum International and Oman Oil Company, the executive chairman of Kuwait Petroleum International Bekhit Rashidi stated, according to Alrai.
