Mubasher: A study by dmg events Middle East, Asia and Africa stated that Kuwait’s construction sector currently has 722 active projects worth KWD 71.5 billion ($234.4 billion), according to Construction Week Online.
The study explained that governmental funding directed at infrastructure, utilities, and housing, as well as focus on increasing oil production has positively contributed to the country’s construction sector.
Governmental efforts came as part of the Kuwait Development Plan 2020, for which officials had dedicated KWD 47.3 billion ($155 billion), according to the report.
