Mubasher: The board members of Kuwait Airways have not submitted a final resignation, yet the resignation of the board will be decided upon the decision of Kuwait’s financial minister Nayef Al Hajraf, sources told Al Anba Newspaper.
The reason behind this resignation followed the minister’s request to the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA) to have a greater role in Kuwait Airways’ board, the sources added.
Kuwait Airways’ board does not mind Al Hajraf’s request; however, it is awaiting the minister’s proper decision in this regard, the sources told Al Anba.
