Mubasher: Kuwait Airways decided to lay off 1,500 non-Kuwaiti employees or 25% of its workforce due to the repercussions of coronavirus (COVID-19) on the aviation sector.
The state-owned air carrier was forced to take this decision as part of a comprehensive plan to limit the negative impact of the pandemic on the company, according to a statement on Thursday.
