Mubasher: Kuwait Airways is set to receive its first Airbus A320neo on Thursday, according to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
The new aircraft will be a part of 28 aircraft contracted with Airbus, which will be delivered by 2026.
A delegation from Kuwait Airways headed by chairman Yusuf Al-Jassem will receive the jet in the German city of Hamburg.
In 2013, Kuwait Airways and Airbus signed a contract for the purchase of 25 types of A350 and A320neo and the rent of 12 A330 and A320 planes. The deal was later amended to include 28 aircraft.
