Kuwait Bourse to suspend 40 firms from trading

Kuwait – Mubasher: The Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) on Tuesday announced that it will suspend trading on 40 companies’ shares starting Wednesday, 16 November, until they release their financial statements for the period ended 30 September 2016.

The key companies included in the announcement were: Kuwait Investment, International Financial Advisors (IFA), Kuwait and Middle East Financial Investment (KMEFIC), Kuwait Finance and Investment Company (KFIC), Gulf Investment House, First Investment, Al Madina for Finance and Investment, and Tamdeen Real Estate.

The list further included: Al Massaleh Real Estate, Equipment Holding, Gulf Petroleum Investment, Kuwait and Gulf Link Transport, KGL Logistics, Gulf Franchising Holding, IFA Hotels and Resorts, Abyaar Real Estate Development, and Kuwait Remal Real Estate.

The total number of companies that have so far disclosed their results for the first nine months of 2016 reached 130 out of 185 listed companies on KSE.
