Mubasher: Al Mazaya Holding announced that the court of cassation in Kuwait has issued a final ruling in favour of the company against Kuwait Business Town Real Estate.
Upon this verdict, Business Towa Real Estate will pay approximately KWD 837,810 ($2.8 million) to Al Mazaya, in addition to annual legal interest of 7% starting from 31 December 2008 until the amount is fully paid, according to a bourse statement on Thursday.
It is noteworthy that Al Mazaya is listed on both Boursa Kuwait and the Dubai Financial Market (DFM).
