Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) will operate normally during the country’s official two-week holiday effective as of Thursday, 12 March, until 26 March, governor of the CBK, Mohammed Al Hashel, stated.
The central bank will perform all tasks connected with main operations, security measures, payment methods, and the electronic cheque clearing system, according to a press release.
The governor further assured smooth and safe banking operations during the period.
Previously, the Kuwaiti cabinet announced a public holiday for two weeks amid worries over the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
