Mubasher: Burgan Bank announced that the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has approved, on 20 May, for Burgan to raise its issued and paid-up capital to KWD 250 million.
Increasing Burgan's capital will be through cash dividends by undertaking a rights issue up to KWD 62 million, according to a bourse statement on Monday.
Any modification in the issue premium and its price will be effective after granting the required approvals.
