Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has issued treasury bills valued at KWD 160 million ($529.1 million), according to the CBK’s latest official data.
This issue has a return of 1.75%, and will be matured in three months on 13 February 2018.
The treasury bills, bonds and securities, were covered about seven times, with an order value of KWD 1.12 billion.
Kuwait’s finance minister previously noted that the government aims to raise the bonds collection to KWD 20 billion from KWD 10 billion, as well as increasing the maturity period to be 30 years.
