Kuwait C.bank issues KWD 200m bonds

Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has earmarked the latest bonds and securities issue at a value of KWD 200 million ($659.5 million).

This bonds issue will be matured in three months, with a return of 2.75%, according to a statement on Monday.

It is noteworthy that the last bonds issue of the central bank was on 23 October at a value of KWD 240 million.

Kuwait’s finance minister previously noted that the government aims to raise the bonds collection to KWD 20 billion from KWD 10 billion, as well as increasing the maturity period to be 30 years.
