Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has issued bonds and related tawarruq worth KWD 200 million ($659.43 million), with a 3% yield.
The issue, which was oversubscribed by 12.71 times at KWD 2.54 billion, has a three-month maturity period that ends on 30 July, according to the CBK’s statement.
The CBK’s latest bonds issue was on 29 April, at a total value of KWD 200 million.
It is noteworthy that bonds and related tawarruq offered by the CBK aim at regulating liquidity to withdraw surplus in the local market.
