Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has issued bonds and securities valued at KWD 240 million ($800.81 million) in line with raising the return.
Return on this bond issuance stood at 2.375% which is considered the highest since March 2008.
This bond issue, which has a duration of six months to be matured on 2 October 2018, was covered 7.4 times valued at KWD 1.78 billion.
The central bank has increased the discount rate by 0.25% following the US Fed’s decision on interest rate.
