Kuwait C.bank issues KWD 240m bonds

Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced it has issued bonds and securities valued at KWD 240 million ($793.39 million) on Monday, according to a recent official statement.

Kuwait’s central bank noted that the yield on these bonds issue stands at 2.50%.

It added that the bond issue has a maturity period of three months and the result of the issuance will be disclosed on Tuesday, 17 July.

It is noteworthy that the central bank’s latest issue was on Tuesday, 10 July, at a total value of KWD 240 million with maturity of six months and a return of 2.625% which is considered the highest since February 2008.
