Kuwait C.bank issues KWD 250m securities

Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced it has issued bonds and securities valued at KWD 250 million ($523.29 million), according to the latest data by the bank.

The issue has a duration of six months with a return up to 2.875%.

It is noteworthy that the central bank’s latest issue, which was on 27 November, stood at KWD 360 million with a six-month maturity period and a return of 2.875%.

It is noteworthy that Kuwait’s finance minister previously noted that the government aims to raise the bonds collection to KWD 20 billion from KWD 10 billion, as well as increasing the maturity period to be 30 years.
