Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) has issued treasury bills valued at KWD 250 million ($828.9 million), with a return of 1.875%.
The issue was covered 4.24 times, with the total demand value reaching KWD 1.06 billion, according to the latest data issued by the CBK.
These treasury bills will be matured in six months on 5 June 2018.
It is worth pinpointing that Kuwait’s finance minister previously noted that the government intends to raise the bonds collection to KWD 20 billion instead of KWD 10 billion, as well as extending the period to be 30 years.
