Mubasher: The Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) announced selling treasury bills worth KWD 360 million ($1.194 billion), with a return of 1.875%.
The bills were covered 3.16 times, with total orders reaching KWD 1.14 billion, according to recent official data.
The issued bills are matured in six months on 29 May 2018.
Kuwait’s finance minister previously noted that the government aims to raise the bonds collection to KWD 20 billion instead of KWD 10 billion, as well as increasing the maturity period to be 30 years.
