Mubasher: Kuwait Cement has reported a 92.9% year-on-year profit decline during the third quarter of the fiscal year 2019.
The company’s profit went down to KWD 72,120 ($237,920) in Q3-19, compared to KWD 1.01 million ($3.33 million) in the year-ago period, according to a bourse statement released on Wednesday.
In the first nine months of 2019, Kuwait Cement’s profit dropped to KWD 4.58 million, from KWD 7.78 million the year before.
It is worth mentioning that the Boursa Kuwait-listed company’s profit declined to KWD 4.51 million in the first half of 2019, compared to KWD 6.77 million a year earlier.
