Mubasher: The trade exchange between Kuwait and China grew to $7 billion, excluding petroleum products and derivatives, with China ranking the first best trade partner to Kuwait according to 2018 statistics, deputy director general of the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hamad Al Omar recently said.
Al Omar further emphasised the importance of having an economic and trade cooperation with China that is based on transparency and free competitiveness in line with the development of effective, quick, credible, and decisive mechanisms to settle any disputes that may arise between Kuwaiti and Chinese firms.
It is worth mentioning that the Chinese firms have contributed to several key projects in Kuwait, including the construction of residential cities, highways, as well as public and private buildings.
