Mubasher: The Kuwait Credit Bank, an independent public institution under the Ministry of State for Housing Affairs, has revealed that all types of loans provided during 2018 amounted to KWD 336.3 million ($1.1 billion).
The number of clients received by the Kuwait Credit Bank reached 314,636 last year, while the number of signed contracts in the legal administration was 9,494 contracts, it said in a statement on Saturday.
Meanwhile, accredited cheques and transfers reached 49,228 and 14,878, respectively.
The Kuwait Credit Bank handles housing loans offered to Kuwaiti citizens alongside other banking services.
