Mubasher: Kuwait Credit Bank (KCB) has announced that total real estate loans reached KWD 19.5 million ($64 million) in August, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Saturday.
The total loan portfolio of expansion and restoration recorded KWD 140,000 in August, while the volume of loans to build private lands amounted to KWD 1.2 million and loans to build government land registered KWD 11 million.
“The total number of loans for buying houses reached KWD 3.9 million. The amount of expenses for the expansion and restoration of private housing amounted to KWD 130,000, and total loans for the expansion and restoration of government houses was around KWD 1 million,” KUNA revealed.
As per data released by KCB loans and grants provided to people with disabilities reached KWD 2.2 million.
