Mubasher: The data of the Kuwaiti ministry of finance (MoF) showed a rise in the total gross domestic product (GDP) in fixed prices by 3.5% last year.
The GDP totalled KWD 40.94 billion in 2016, compared to around KWD 39.54 billion in the year before.
On the other hand, there was a decline in the GDP in current prices by 2.9% to KWD 33.5 billion, from KWD 34.5 billion, according to the ministry.
The GDP per capita decreased by 1.1% to KWD 9,200 from KWD 9,300 in 2015.
