Kuwait Gypsum board approves delisting from Boursa Kuwait

Mubasher: The board members of Kuwait Gypsum Manufacturing and Trading recommended to the company’s shareholders a voluntary withdrawal from Boursa Kuwait – Parallel Market, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.

On 21 February, the board proposed to voluntarily delist from the stock market, due to the incapability of raising the capital to KWD 10 million nor increasing the number of the shareholders to 200.

In May 2017, the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) announced transferring Kuwait Gypsum, in addition to other ten companies, to the parallel market from being listed on the official market of Boursa Kuwait.
