Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Gypsum Manufacturing and Trading reported a growth of 73.7% in profits during the third quarter of 2016 as compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings reached about KWD 62,900 ($205,960) in Q3-16 when compared to nearly KWD 36,210 ($118,600) in Q3-15, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
During the first nine months of 2016, profits soared by 90.75% to stand at around KWD 162,140 when compared to approximately KWD 85,000 in the same period a year ago.
Operating revenue decreased by 19.4% to KWD 1.54 million in 9M-16 from KWD 1.92 million in 9M-15.
