Kuwait-Mubasher: The number of passengers of Kuwait International Airport for the first time in 2015 has surpassed 11 million for the first time in 2015, achieving an 8% growth when compared to 2014, according to Kuwait’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
Anew airport is expected to solve the current crowdedness problem, as the existing airport receives over 10 million passengers annually.
The underway project will boost capacity to 25 million passengers a year, with expectations to become the most advanced regional airport in the Gulf area, according to Arabian Business.
