Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Investment registered a surge of 455.6% in profits in the first quarter of 2017, compared to the same period in the previous year.
The company recorded a profit of KWD 4.75 million ($15.57 million) in Q1-17 from nearly KWD 854,950 ($2.8 million) in Q1-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Thursday.
The net operating profit in Q1-17 soared by 566.5% to KWD 4.01 from about KWD 601,700 in Q1-16.
At the stock level, Kuwait Investment on Thursday rose by 1.06% to 95 fils by 9:40 am Kuwait time.
