Kuwait – Mubasher: Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) is adopting a strategic plan aimed at bringing production capacity to 3 million barrel per day by the end of 2015 and around 3.650 million bpd by 2020, said CEO Hashim Hashim.
KOC signed in the last two years several contracts for the development of oil fields in northern and southern Kuwait to brining the company’s production capacity to 3.6 million tpd, the top executive added, in a speech during an energy summit.
Hashim also noted that his company is seeking to achieve clean energy at its projects by 8% and 15% in 2020 and 2030 respectively.
