Mubasher: The Producer Prices Index (PPI) in Kuwait went up by 14.24% year-on-year in the fourth quarter of 2016, as per the data of the Kuwaiti Central Statistical Bureau.
The Producer Prices General Index decreased by 0.93% compared with the previous quarter, the bureau’s most recent report indicated.
The index for the extractive industries group declined by 1.38%, as a result of the decrease in the index of oil extraction prices by 1.56%.
The index of the manufacturing industry fell 0.55%, as a result of the decrease in the oil refining prices index by 0.67%.
