Kuwait Projects posts 10.7% increase in Q4 profits

Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Projects Holding achieved a growth of 10.7% in profits of the fourth quarter of 2015 as compared to the same quarter of 2014, the company said in a bourse statement.

The Kuwaiti company reported earnings worth KWD 15.79 million ($52.62 million) in Q4-15, compared to KWD 14.26 million ($47.52 million) in Q4-14.

Kuwait Projects registered KWD 53.03 million profits in the fiscal year 2015, 15.1% higher from KWD 46.09 million in the previous fiscal year.

The company noted that the increase in profits was due to the growing revenues as well as profits from subsidiaries.

The board has recommended distribution of 25% cash dividends or 25 fils per share.

It is noteworthy that the stock has ended Monday’s trading session at 540 fils, after 28,000 shares were traded with a value worth about KWD 15,100.
