Kuwait-Mubasher: Kuwait Slaughter House’s profits fell 4.5% year-on-year to KWD 200,000 ($661,550) in the second quarter of 2016 from KWD 209,500 ($692,970).
The company’s profits were also down 3.4% to KWD 395,320 in the six-month period of 2016 compared to KWD 409,060 in the year-ago period.
Lower revenues contributed to the decrease in net profits, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
The board recommended on Thursday, 4 August, the withdrawal of the company from the market.
