Mubasher: Kuwait’s goods, supply, and construction subsidies totalled KWD 13.3 million ($43.88 million) in December 2018, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said on Wednesday.
The total value of subsidised food items including basic goods amounted to KWD 3.6 million, KUNA reported citing data released by the Gulf nation’s ministry.
The total value of subsidies directed to milk and baby formulas reached KWD 699,000.
Meanwhile, the value of construction materials’ subsidies totalled KWD 9 million, the ministry added, noting that the total number of beneficiaries of subsidised supply goods were 2.055 million with 230,400 ration cards.
