Mubasher: The Civil Service Commission (CSC) in Kuwait announced that Tuesday, 1 January 2019, will be an official holiday in the country, on the occasion of the New Year.
All ministries, government entities, as well as public institutions and authorities will be closed on 1 January 2019, according to a recent statement.
Working hours at the mentioned entities will resume on Wednesday, 2 January 2019.
The CSC noted that the private sector in Kuwait will determine the holiday.
