Mubasher: The Kuwaiti Public Authority for Food and Nutrition (PAFN) has recommended a ban on strawberry imports from Australia.
PAFN announced its recommendation after an urgent meeting on Wednesday, on the fears that may be contaminated with metal needles.
Australian strawberries containing sharp metal and needles have been recently discovered in New Zealand and Singapore.
