Mubasher: Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA) announced that it would deny entry of vessels coming from Iran in Shuaiba, Doha, and Shuwaikh ports amid concerns over the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iran, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported on Sunday.
This move is part of the GCC nation’s efforts to protect the country against the new virus, KPA’s director general Sheikh Youssef Abdullah Sabah Al Nasser Al Sabbah said.
Earlier on Sunday, the Kuwaiti health minister Dr. Basel Al Sabah announced that all Kuwaitis arrived from Iran on Saturday, 22 February, are free from the new coronavirus.
